HOW IT WORKS
Instant identity verification, a new level of convenience & efficiency.
Instead of requiring your customers to identify themselves repeatedly, you can simply rely on the stored identities in their digital identity wallet from IDnow.
Your customers can simply save identity documents and access them whenever
– and wherever – they need them. Our digital identity wallet can store identities which are verified using any of our products, such as AutoIdent or VideoIdent.
By joining the IDnow ecosystem and our extensive network of existing customers, you benefit from cost and time savings by accessing a European pool of already verified identities right from the start.

EUROPEAN REGULATION
eIDAS 2.0.
eIDAS 2.0 – the next frontier for digital identity in Europe.
With eIDAS 2.0 entering into force, all EU member states will be mandated to provide their citizens with access to digital identity wallets within 12 months following the release of eIDAS 2.0.
In June 2021, the EU Commission presented a draft of the eIDAS 2.0 regulations and with that, a plan for a European digital identity wallet standard. The goal is to create a pan-European and most importantly, an interoperable ecosystem.
With eIDAS 2.0, the European Commission aims to expand the basic digital identity and enable their citizens to not only identify themselves but also to digitize and store identity documents and further information, such as driver licenses and tax information. As a result, digital identity wallets could serve as catalyst for the digitalization of many industries.
With eIDAS 2.0, the European Commission will pave the way for the next generation of digital identity. For the first time, identity wallets will allow us to save and reuse previously verified identities. With the IDnow Wallet, we will enable our clients to leverage faster and more cost-efficient identity verification than ever before.
